Call for Demonstrations

The fourth IEEE Online Conference on Green Communications (OnlineGreenComm) solicits demonstrations of original research prototypes related to all aspects of Green Communications. The demo session provides an exciting opportunity for researchers to share their state-of-the-art technologies applied to real world scenarios.

Due to the special characteristics of this conference, to be held completely online, the demonstration session offers a unique opportunity for companies and researchers to show their latest advances, without the need to travel with expensive equipment or to take special security measurements. The demonstration will be provided via a pre-recorded online video session followed by an online discussion in a unique interactive virtual setting. Attendees of the conference will be able to take advantage of unique features of the online meeting such as obtaining credit for professional development hours while online.

Demo proposals should clearly describe what will be demonstrated and how the contributions will be illustrated interactively. They should describe the design, implementation and use of the systems. Demonstration proposals should be of a maximum length of 2 pages (IEEE conference format) and must be submitted via EDAS before 16 September 2014.

The proposal would not be a formal publication to be published in IEEE Xplore®, but will be used for evaluation for acceptance for the conference. The authors of successful submissions will be responsible to prepare relevant slides and video to be shown in the conference.
